Prasadam

Prasadam ShlokaÃtmanivedi (true) devotees should not eat or drink any such thing which is not offered first to God as an offering. (Shikshapatri-Verse 60)

“Transform Every Meal into a Sacred Act of Devotion with Prasadam.“

Prasadam, as outlined in Shikshapatri Verse 60, is food that is first offered to God, elevating each meal from mere sustenance to a sacred ritual. This practice imbues vegetarianism with deeper spiritual significance, making each meal a profound expression of devotion.

For true devotees, or Atmanivedis, consuming only prasadam—food that has been offered to God—is a vital practice. By dedicating our meals to the divine, we transform every bite into an act of reverence, enriching our spiritual journey. Through this sacred offering, we not only nourish our bodies but also deepen our connection with God, turning every meal into a meaningful and divine experience.
